Andre' Castleberry is a Gainesville native and commander of the American Legion Paul E. Bolding Post 7. He believes people should be informed about what's going on, and he likes to keep up with politics, sports and events.
"You'd be surprised how many people get their news from social media, so it's not anything that's reliable or not necessarily credible all the time. So I think it's important for people to subscribe to a paper and get the news."

JP McKenzie owns Meadowlark Coffee in downtown Gainesville and is married with two young children. He turns to the The Times to learn about what's happening in Gainesville and pays close attention to news about local events and new businesses in town.
"As a community member of Gainesville I think it's important to be on top of what's happening locally so you can be a better member of the community for your neighbors and support everyone around you. I think Gainesville Times does a great job of keeping us informed so we can better support each other."
