Known for his taste in material and distinctively melancholy voice, country music icon John Conlee will share his classic hits to the Holly Theater in downtown Dahlonega.

A member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1981, Conlee’s career has spanned 40 years. During that time, he has created classic songs such as “Rose Colored Glasses” (Conlee’s signature song), “Friday Night Blues,” “Backside of 30,” “Common Man,” “Miss Emily’s Picture,” and “I Don’t Remember Lovin’ You.” Overall, he has released more than 30 singles with 26 charting in the top 20 or higher. Eight have reached the coveted No. 1 spot on the national country charts.

His concert will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at 69 W. Main St. in Dahlonega. A meet-and-greet will begin at 6:30 p.m. with purchase of VIP tickets costing $60.
