Don and Martha Elrod of Oakwood celebrated their 50th anniversary Sept. 7, 2013. A vacation with children and grandchildren to celebrate the occasion was given by their children. The couple have three children, Amy Browning, Betsy Elrod and Donna Latimer, and four grandchildren.
