Bill and Judy Manus of Gainesville and Mitchell Barrett of Cleveland announce the engagement of their daughter Chanda Michelle Barrett to Eric Dean Sheredy, son of Sharon Buckley of Phoenix and Ed Sheredy of Roswell.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Charles and Alwayne Barrett and Barbara Palmer, all of Cleveland, and the late James Palmer .
She is a 1999 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2003 from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro with a bachelor's degree in public relations.
The groom-elect is a 1995 graduate of Roswell High School in Roswell. He graduated in 2001 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor's degree in business.
The couple plan to wed April 25, 2009, at Riverbend Baptist Church in Gainesville.
