The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Inez and Cranford Carnes of Tiger and the late John B. and Odessa Taylor.
She is a 1995 graduate of Rabun County High School in Tiger. She graduated in 2008 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in family nurse practitioner. She is employed as a nurse at Stephens County Hospital in Toccoa.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Idiline Harrison of Gainesville and the late Douglas Harrison, Virginia Love Waters and Lucille Hicks. He is a 2001 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2001-2006. He graduated in 2009 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He graduated with a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Georgia in Athens.
The couple plan to wed 7 p.m., June 12, 2010, at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Clermont.
