Randy and Peggy Copeland of Clermont announce the engagement of their daughter Deanna Kay Copeland to Christopher Michael Brown, son of David and Nita Brown of Easthampton, Mass.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Necis Copeland and Ken and Gail Beasley, all of Gainesville.
She is a 2002 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2006 from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah with a bachelor's degree in broadcast design & motion graphics. She is employed as an After Effects artist with Elevation in Atlanta.
The groom-elect is the grandson of John Wiater of Hadley, Mass., and Brad and Marion Bradsaw of Cochester, Conn.
He is a 2000 graduate of Holyoke Catholic High School in Chicopee. He graduated in 2005 from Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah with a bachelor's degree in broadcast design & motion graphics. He is employed as a lead designer with Jump in Atlanta.
The couple plan to wed Sept. 5 , 2010, at Little Gardens in Lawrenceville.
