Danny and Mary Mayfield of Chatsworth announce the engagement of their daughter Sara Danielle Mayfield to Gregory Roger Gravitt, son of Ann Greer of Gainesville and the late Roger Gravitt and the late Furman Greer.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ed and Ruth Mayfield, and James Mooney, all of Chatsworth, and Jane Hammontree of Dalton.
She is a 2001 graduate of Murray County High School in Chatsworth. She graduated in 2005 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance. She is employed with United Community Bank in Gainesville.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Louis Bannister of Gainesville.
He is a 1988 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville. He graduated in 1992 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor's degree in finance. He is employed with Arrow Truck Lines in Gainesville.
The couple plan to wed Aug. 23, 2008, at The Ritz Carlton Lodge in Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro.
