Timothy and Deborah Mixon of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter Elizabeth Mixon to Brandon Withrow, son of Michael and Kelli Withrow of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Harold and Peggy Burton of Monroe and Ray and Nell Mixon of Hawkinsville.

She is a 2007 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. She will graduate in 2011 from North Georgia College & State University with a bachelor’s degree in history.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Kerry and Jean Collins of Gainesville and Vesta Ramsey of Clarkesville.

He is a 2007 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. He is the owner of Just $5 in Hiawassee.

The couple plan to wed Oct. 3, 2010, at Wolf Mountain Vineyards in Dahlonega.
