Roy and Debbie Strickland of Lula announce the engagement of their daughter, Holly Danielle Strickland, to John Michael Dorough, son of Mike and Julie Dorough of Gainesville.
The bride-elect is a 2012 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville. She plans to graduate in May 2017 from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education.
The groom-elect is a 2011 graduate of Veritas Classical School in Macon. He graduated in 2016 from the University of North Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He is employed as an operations associate at Tyson Foods.
The couple plan to wed May 20, 2017, at Densmore Farm in Cleveland.
