In the grand scheme of the foodie universe coleslaw – which originates from the Dutch koolsla, a cabbage salad – doesn’t usually get paid much attention. Unless you’re a Georgia granny famous for your Southern style slaw or a loyal fan of Dairy Queen’s traditional menu item, a recipe change would likely just pass you by.
