Gainesville High School graduate Xylina Stamper donned the role of Mrs. Corry in the musical “Mary Poppins” during its run at Aurora Theatre in downtown Lawrenceville. Stamper grew up under the direction of Gainesville High School teacher Pam Ware, who provided a theatrical foundation. Stamper founded a drama enrichment program called Standing Ovation Performing Arts.
