Richard and Connie Hagler of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Katharine Ann Hagler to Douglas Steven Coppola Jr., son of Doug Coppola and Mimi Barnes-Coppola of Buffalo, N.Y. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bill and Ann Livesay of Roswell, and the late Jack and Mary Anne Hagler. She is a 2000 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2004 from the University of Georgia with a degree in risk management and insurance.
