One passenger died Tuesday morning following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Ga. 365 and Howard Road in Gainesville. The driver of the vehicle was airlifted by helicopter to an Atlanta hospital. The crash occurred when the driver of a green Toyota sedan attempted to cross Ga. 365 from the RaceTrac gas station on Howard Road, said Cpl. Joe Britte, a spokesman for the Gainesville Police Department.
