Hall County Schools to remain closed Friday; staff should report at 8 a.m. if able; "School From Home" lessons continue for students

Gainesville City Schools to remain closed Friday; 12-month staff should report

Lumpkin County Schools closed Friday to students; 12-month staff should report. Showers, charging stations, and hot food provided at Lumpkin County High from 3-6 p.m. Thursday

Habersham County Schools, closed through the end of the week; varsity football game versus Stephens County rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday

Laurel Park and River Forks Park closed Thursday

Businesses, events

Boys & Girls Clubs of Lanier closed Thursday and Friday

North Georgia Zoo in Cleveland, closed Friday, open for limited hours 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; cash and checks only accepted at ticket booth; credit card purchases available only on website

Healthy Aging Expo rescheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 20
