CUMMING — The body of a man was found Monday morning on the Lake Lanier shoreline at Mary Alice Park, authorities said. Park visitors apparently saw the body as they were walking along the beach, according to Robin Regan, a spokesman for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation plans to perform an autopsy this morning, Regan said, while investigators continue to pursue the man’s identity.
