Cleveland woman killed in Friday morning Gainesville wreck

A Cleveland woman was killed after a head-on collision Friday morning on White Sulphur Road north of Gainesville, police said.

Erica Green, 39, was driving southbound on White Sulphur Road in a 2015 Nissan Versa when she reportedly “left her lane and struck a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado headon,” according to Gainesville Police.

Green was pronounced dead at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Gainesville authorities responded around 7:30 a.m. to the crash at White Sulphur Road at Waters Road.

The investigation is ongoing.
