Fundraisers have been set up by relatives and friends of the four people killed in Wednesday’s shooting at Apalachee High School.
Gainesville attorney Candace Williams couldn’t get to sleep in the wee hours after the Apalachee High School shooting. She took to Instagram and posted about metal detectors in schools, snowballing to her joining with Gainesville baker Rebekah Rico to try to build a coalition for this security measure in schools.
