Eric Morales, 15, is paralyzed from the neck down after a car accident when he was 2. His mother Cristy Morales describes him as "a happy kid," but his family needs a new wheelchair-accessible van to help him get around.
The list of Eric Morales’ health concerns is lengthy. The North Hall teen was involved in a tragic car accident when he was 2, breaking his neck and injuring his brainstem and cervical cord. Today, he has high cervical quadriplegia, or paralysis from the neck down, chronic respiratory insufficiency, G tube dependency, complex partial seizures and tracheostomy and ventilator dependency.
