The Gainesville Police Department arrested a Gainesville man wanted in connection with a couple of burglaries, officers said.

William Justin Cole, 26, is in Hall County Jail on one count of burglary for his alleged role in a theft investigators say happened after hours on Jan. 22.

Cole is accused of entering the Honey Baked Ham store at Thompson Bridge Road and stealing an undisclosed amount of cash and dessert, police said.

More charges are pending against Cole, who is also the suspect in a burglary that took place on White Sulphur Road, said Kevin Holbrook, department spokesman.
