Two suspects demanded cash from employees after midnight Sunday at a Gainesville Waffle House, police said.

Gainesville Police responded around 12:45 a.m. Sunday to the Pentee Drive restaurant to a robbery report.

“Reportedly, two black males entered the business, brandished a firearm and demanded money,” Sgt. Kevin Holbrook wrote in an email.

Police have not released the amount of money taken. No customers were believed to be inside at the time of the robbery, and no injuries were reported.

“We are attempting to obtain the video surveillance from Waffle House,” Holbrook said.
