Girl seriously injured in tractor incident near Lula

A girl was seriously injured after being hit by a tractor near Julian Baugh Road near Lula this afternoon, authorities said. Hall County Fire Marshal Scott Cagle reported at 2:26 p.m. that the girl was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center and will be flown to an Atlanta hospital. Hall County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Chad Mann said the girl was hit in the 5800 block of Julian Baugh Road around 1:50 p.m. Mann said the scene had just been cleared as of 2:45 p.m. and that operations were back to normal.
