Sprawling Flowery Branch subdivision on the way to get this nagging issue fixed

Homes and residents at Summit Lake subdivision have been in Flowery Branch city limits for several years. But because of “apparent failures in the stormwater infrastructure,” streets winding through the 325-home, 109-acre development between McEver Road and Gainesville Street never were accepted by the city. Now, some key votes by council members have changed the development's status.
