A small crowd gathers Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, at Lake Lanier Olympic Park for a celebration and groundbreaking ceremony for a new pavilion to be named in honor of the 1996 Tri-Chairs Jim Mathis, Steve Gilliam and Mary Hart Wilheit. The new pavilion is the final phase of the Lake Lanier Olympic Park project.
