Demolition of the old Hall County jail could start in May, Gainesville City Manager Bryan Lackey said Thursday morning. “We’re excited about that going forward,” Lackey told Gainesville City Council during a Thursday morning work session. “I can’t wait to see grass on that site,” Councilman Zack Thompson said.
