A father and son are dead in a murder-suicide that occurred late Saturday.
Cameron Clark Martin, 29, contacted his family to tell them he was suicidal Saturday night, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office. His father, 56-year-old Paul Cowan Martin, went to check on his son in the 2300 block of Thompson Mill Road.
The Sheriff’s Office believes Cameron Martin shot his father, contacted his family and then shot himself. Members of Martin’s family called law enforcement.
The case remains under investigation.
