Police later determined Grant was responsible for car break-ins on Mill Street, Summit Street, Wall Street, Boone Street and Jesse Jewell Parkway, Kelly said. The first break-in occurred on Jan. 11 and the last on Wednesday.

Grant was charged with six counts of entering auto and one count of theft by taking.
