Theresa London will be the interim principal at Lula Elementary School. She has been assistant principal there since 2011.

Superintendent Will Schofield announced her appointment Monday night.

She has been with Hall County Schools for 20 years. She also was an assistant principal at Riverbend Elementary from 2001-2011 and was a teacher before that.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in 1980 and her master’s in 1983 from the University of Georgia.

She received her specialist degree in education leadership in 1999 from Lincoln Memorial University.

London will replace Matt Alexander, who previously was announced as principal at McEver Arts Academy for the 2016-17 school year.
