Hundreds of family and friends joined Tripp Halstead’s family as they were shown their newly renovated home for the first time Saturday in Jefferson. Tripp is the 2-year-old who suffered a head injury when a tree fell on him outside his Winder day care last October. The Halsteads bought a new house in the Jefferson area earlier this year so they could be closer to family and friends who could help take care of Tripp.
