It happened again. We lost another officer in the line of duty to a senseless act of cowardly violence, this time just up the road from own home in Gainesville. On Sunday, July 7, Hall County Deputy Sheriff Nicolas Blane Dixon was fulfilling his duty, responding to a report of a stolen vehicle.
