Johnson battled Franklin County in a tight contest Friday night in Carnesville but the home Lions held on for a 14-7 win.

Knights freshman quarterback Sam Corbett had 116 yards rushing and 40 yards passing.

Johnson junior running back Cody Long had 42 rushing yards, and Victor Pittman had 55 rushing yards and the only touchdown for Johnson.
