The Atlanta Falcons will be back in Flowery Branch before the month is finished.
Tuesday, the team announced the dates for its 2008 training camp which begins at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 26 at the team headquarters in Flowery Branch.
The training camp, which is in its 43rd year, is being held at Flowery Branch for the fourth straight season.
The Falcons will hold 30 practices this year, including 12 two-a-day sessions. The first five practices, and various others, are open to the public.
The team will also hold a scrimmage at 7:15 p.m. Aug. 1 at Mill Creek High in Hoschton, followed by a mock game the following day at the Georgia Dome. Both games are open to the public.
Atlanta’s preseason begins at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 9 at Jacksonville, followed by two home games against Indianapolis at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 16 and Tennessee at 7;30 p.m. Aug. 22. They wrap up their preseason at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 28 at Baltimore.
