UNG's Taylor Allen and Shelby Hanna receive All-American academic honors
North Georgia duo receive All-American Scholar accolades from the Womens Golf Coaches Association

University of North Georgia golfers Taylor Allen and Shelby Hanna both received All-American Scholar designations from the Women’s Golf Coaches Association, announced Tuesday by the WGCA.

The recent graduates were amongst some of the top golfers in Division I, II & III to receive this honor. The pair also received Peach Belt Conference All-Academic honors this past season. They are two of 14 PBC golfers to receive this accolade.

Allen just graduated from North Georgia with a 4.0 GPA and received the league’s Elite 15 Award to finish out her career as a Nighthawk. Hanna just graduated with a 3.58 GPA and ended her career by picking up her third WGCA All-American Scholar honor.
