The Georgia Games weightlifting competition is Saturday at the Iron Beast Gym at 675 Grove Street in Gainesville. Competition is open to all ages, with an emphasis on drawing high school athletes to represent their schools. Other divisions include teen (13-15, 16-17 and 18-19); juniors (20-23), open division, novice (first meet); Special Olympics, and Masters (40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-and-over).
