Lindsey Ledford only gave up two hits, totaled four strikeouts, and finished with no earned runs, while three Lady Red Elephants hit home runs in Gainesville’s (7-8) 21-4 four-inning rout of Clarke Central Wednesday. Alyia Goss led the batting order by driving in a team-high six runs on a pair of hits, while Sidney Payne, Alani Mydell, Emma Philips, Ledford (three RBIs, four runs), Jayla Williams, and Isabella Folger finished the night with two hits apiece. Madison Oliver had two home runs with four RBIs, and Tanisha Watson followed (2 for 2) with a home run and two RBIs in her multi-hit performance.
